A wooden stand supports a heat lamp that illuminates a stack of 15 ceramic bowls, warming them, but failing to fire them with too low a temperature.

Hot Tile (swallowing the sun, Rumi)
UV tanning light, ceramic, chain
A tanning light hangs from the ceiling, angled above a ceramic tile, attempting to change its color, but failing to do so as it has been fired and glazed. The UV light is on a timer, and will turn on and off with the "ding" sound of a kitchen timer.
